Scope of application:
The high-pressure burst testing machine for piping is suitable for short-term burst tests on glass-fiber-reinforced plastic pipes, steel-reinforced polyethylene composite pipes, reinforced thermoplastic composite pipes, flexible high-pressure composite pipes, plastic-alloy composite pipes, steel-reinforced thermoplastic-resin continuous composite pipes, and thermoplastic pipes. The tests are conducted in accordance with Procedure A of ASTM D 1599.
